Kelowna will soon be home to two new high rise towers, with city council approving the One Water Street project at last night's council meeting. The proposed development saw little opposition, with only one councillor voting against the proposal. This new project will see the tallest towers between Vancouver and Calgary built in Downtown Kelowna's North End.
One Water Street will be situated at 1187 Sunset Drive, at the corner of Sunset Drive and Clement Avenue, and will feature a 36 and 29 storey tower atop a 3 storey podium. The towers will feature 404 residential units, and the developer, North American Development Group, is now planning to move ahead with their disclosure statement and pre-sales campaign.
